When did the ferry launch?

The Passage East Ferry Company began operation in July 1982.

Does the ferry operate all year round?

We operate everyday with the exception of Christmas Day and St Stephens Day. See our timetable for more info.

Is there a set timetable?

We operate a continuous shuttle service approximately every 15 mins from each side.

How long is the ferry crossing?

The ferry crossing takes approx. 5 minutes from when we set sail.

Do I have to prebook?

No, we operate a continuous shuttle service, you just show up whenever you need to cross.

How can I pay for my tickets?

Tickets can be purchased in advance online by debit/credit card. Tickets can also be purchased with cash/cheque/card payments accepted.

Can I bring my pet onboard?

Yes, you can bring your furry friend onboard, we just ask that you keep him/her on a lead at all times.
